1. Files you upload

PDF files that you upload for compression are stored temporarily on our servers only for as long as it takes to compress them and return the result to you. In all cases, uploaded files and any compressed output are automatically and permanently deleted within 60 minutes. We do not read, open, index, share, sell, or otherwise inspect the contents of your files.

2. Personal information

The Service does not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information unless you voluntarily send them to us through our contact form, in which case we use them solely to reply to your message.

3. Cookies & analytics

The Service uses only strictly necessary cookies required for basic site functionality. We may use privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics (e.g., page views, referrers) to understand overall usage patterns. Analytics data is never linked to file contents and cannot be used to identify individual users.

4. Encryption & security

All uploads and downloads occur over HTTPS. Files are stored in an access-restricted temporary directory during processing and deleted as described above. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Service, though no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

5. Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your files or personal information with third parties. Limited operational sub-processors (e.g., hosting infrastructure) may process data on our behalf strictly to run the Service.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of any personal data we hold about you, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not retain files or accounts, most requests are moot — but if you’ve contacted us and want your message deleted, email us and we’ll take care of it within 30 days.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
